Strategy

‘Strategy’ is out planning and out thinking your opponent. ‘Tactics’ are the actions you use to implement that strategy.  ‘Sobbing like a little girl’ is what I do when those two things don’t work out as planned. And sometimes they don’t. But hey. It’s just a game and they might the next time. Get over it.  An example of strategy is flanking a bunker from two sides to clear it. An example of the Tactics you might use to do that would be to silently approach and coordinate with radios, toss in some smoke grenades on a prearranged radio signal, and then open covering fire with part of yoru uinit while the other half assaults the bunker at close range. The goal for Team Tango is not to play harder or faster than anyone else (have seen what kind of shape we are in?), but to play smarter. Many missions involve objectives where avoiding the enemy is the best way to achieve your goal rather than the obvious battle. Experience, stealth and guile don’t always beat youth, energy and enthusiasm, but it know how to let the air out of their tires.
