3 commentsSplat a Spook! @ Line of Fire PB Nov. 1st
Shooting paintballs without the threat of getting shot back? This sounds like fun! Line of Fire Paintball in Mills River, NC is hosting a “Splat a Spook” evening after hours at LOFPB. The SPLAT-A-SPOOK event is NOT a game and shooters will NOT use their own equipment. This event is aimed at letting those who have wanted to try shooting paintball markers (but were concerned about being shot). The shooters will ride a small haycart through our courses and shoot at unarmed ‘live’ monster targets and motion activated targets that will appear from time to time. All shooters will receive a LOF ‘treat bag’ when they are done shooting. What a great way to get newbies interested in playing paintball. For more information, contact LOFPB at 828-891-2399.

3 Weeks to Fulda Gap!
If the Carolinas had a “SuperBowl of Paintball“, the Fulda Gap scenario at Command Decisions Wargames Center in Taylorsville, NC, on Nov 8-9th, would be it. Annual Paintball Sniper Challenge Oct.18th
Jack Hughes is hosting the First Annual Sniper Challenge, Saturday October 18th at 8:00am (evidently snipers get up early!). The event says that it is limited to the first 25 players that sign up. It is being hosted on private property and the entry cost is $5.
There is a lot of controversy over whether there even IS such a thing as snipers in paintball. Everyone has their own opinion and since I am paying for the hosting space of this blog, have a free evening, and can type a whopping 6 words per minute, so I get to spew mine. Reading and believing are optional. Snickering is probable.
