There are only 134 days until Fulda Gap at Command Decisions in Taylorsville, NC. In an effort to educate you to the benefits of defending our Communist way of life, we will present a little (real world) history about the Warsaw Pact, it’s brave legacy of defending itself from NATO (cossacks!), and a bit about the strategic importance of the Fulda Gap itself.

Most importantly, we want to educate you about the Warsaw Pact that will be devastating the NATO forces for the FOURTH year in a row at Fulda Gap paintball scenario at Command Decisions this November 6 and 7th and why you should sign up NOW to be a member of this glorious victory in once again defeating the capitalist swine threatening to subjugate all of eastern Europe. World Scenario Game on August 8th 2009

June 23rd, 2009 | Category: Events

BT Paintball and Kee Action Sports are starting a new program for paintball fields and dealers that achieve a certain amount of sales and customer flow called the Kee Premium Field program. Only select fields will be eligible for this title, and to kick it all off, BT will be holding a World Scenario Game on August 8th 2009.  The idea is that all the Kee Premium Fields will hold the same scenario game on the same day, with scores and missions being uploaded and downloaded from a central computer network.  What this means is that blue team, for instance, will cooperate on a international level with blue team members at all the fields participating in the game.  It all takes place at the same time across the world. Is this project too ambitious to be a success?  Read More… Read more

The Virginia Big One - June 27th-28th

June 18th, 2009 | Category: Events

tpxForget movie tie-ins! To hell with back-stories that have no impact on the game! This is just plain old paintball. Capture the flag or go home! Paintball Virginia is presenting The Virginia Big One, a paintball game that is just two sides, Red and Blue. Capture their flags for points or die trying. It doesn’t get anymore old school than that. I spoke with Bart this week and he is expecting about 150 players to attend the event with players from as far away as West Virginia and New York (slow paintball week in NY?) PB Virginia is giving away one of the brand new Tippmann TPX 68 caliber paintball pistol as a door prize. Read more

Try to schedule something, I dare you!

May 17th, 2009 | Category: Events

shellgame2I thought my wife changed her mind alot. Then I got into paintball. Within hours since we posted a paintball schedule for events in the area, almost every field has had a change that impacts our team schedule. We have been trying to  plan out our team events for the next six months and I am more than ready to jump in to the bath tub with a razor blade and Alanis Morisette music playing. Every time I post a change, two more pop up! Let me give you some highlights… Read more

MAY be Paintball!

May 10th, 2009 | Category: Events

MrPeabodyHello again, Peabody here. If March and April kicked off the paintball season, May brings it in style. From the ancient past to the no-so distant future, The next few months have more games than Angelina has babies. The good news is that there isn’t much overlap so unless you have a limited budget, you may not have to chose between too many games.

This week, as Sherman and I bounce through time through the use of our WABAC Machine, we will be visiting the games of the next few weeks (from the distant past to improbable future) to see where you can best take out your paintball aggression.

Paintball Central Matthews Revisited

April 29th, 2009 | Category: Events

Almost a year ago exactly, I wrote a review of Paintball Central’s store in Pineville, NC. One major issue I had in the review was the customer service attitude behind the counter. It seemed to be “this-is-just-a-part-time-gig, how-can-I-can-get-you-out-of-my-face-as-quick-as-possible-so-I-can-talk-to-my-girlfriend-on-the-phone“. Then the phone call came. To me. And it wasn’t a girlfriend. One of the head marketing guys from PBC’s home office in Raleigh.

Ruht-ro! I figured I was in for a “good talking to” for the review. Duck and cover, I am about to be under fire!
