Tactical Diversions Productions (sometimes we just call him Ferg) and Wolf Creek Paintball in Star, NC presents Vietnam: Heat on Saturday July 19th.  Based on Operation: Cedar Falls in January 1967, when the U.S. and South Vietnamese forces attempted to root out Viet Cong base camps in the Iron Triangle. “The operation involved nearly 16,000 American and 14,000 South Vietnamese troops. The Viet Cong chose not to fight and melted away into a complex system of tunnels in the jungle. In response, tunnel rats were introduced to root them out. This was the first time they were used.”

The armies in the scenario will be the U.S. Army vs. the Viet Cong. This will be a pretty simple prop game, as the US forces will try to locate and destroy the VietCong supplies and interdict their forces, while the VC will make the Americans pay for each inch of ground they try to take in classic guerrilla combat action. Be advised, there will be several role players on the field. Shooting the wrong ones could result in major penalties. There will also be special cards issued for tunnel rats on both sides. Tanks will be on the field, so bring your AT.

Field Fee on Day of Game:  $35.00 or Pre Register on or before July 16, 2008:  ONLY $30.00 (Registration includes all day air/CO2 and field fee) This is a field paint only event. Paint will be available from $45.00 a case and up. Game will start promptly at 10:00 and end at 5:00, raffle, awards and prizes at 5:30. Field will open at 8:00.
