The paintball community is a very passionate crowd. Our emotions tend to be right out there for all to see. Joy. Frustration.  Anger.  Laughter. Compassion. When something strikes us close to home, we respond. This came to us from Joe from Wolf Creek Paintball…

“A friend of mine, Autumn Dennis, who worked at Paintball Kingdom in Marshville was killed in a tragic and horrible car accident. She was only 20 years old. I was in classes with her for graphic arts.This was a very young girl, who has lived a very hard life and died tragically and suddenly. The Paintball community is a very close, and tightknit community. Please come and support this, I ask this as a friend and as one who has lost a good friend. Jim Shuler, the owner of Paintball Kingdom, is planning a memorial game to help her family with medical and funeral expenses. This is planned for August 16th, from 10 am to 6 pm. The following is the email he sent me concerning this:

Autumns parents and us have settled on August 16th to have the Memorial game for her. Please Help us get the word out for this game.  It will be a fun game from 10 Am to 6PM. The registration fee is 25.00, paint is 40.00 a case. We are asking that you preregister (704 624 4115) if possible so we can have a good count for paint, food and supplies for this event. We will have food, prizes Special Event T-Shirts (designed by Autumn) for sale. Autumns parents will be here to meet and greet/talk/share etc. to all of Autumn’s friends. Large portion of the proceeds will go to cover the families expenses. We are asking people to preregister if possible so we have a handle on supplies, food and paint for this event.
