Ghost Town Story Line:
In the far off future, world governments have broken down returning the human race to its ancient nomadic ways. Tribes of humans roam the Earth in search of rare precious resources in an attempt to survive the brutal conditions left by the single greatest tragedy to befall mankind.
Was it 50 years ago? More? No one could remember exactly when the Asteroid struck, but its effects were still being felt today. The smaller nations were the first to fall to total anarchy, and that anarchy spread like a great plague from nation to nation. The asteroid was toxic. It left radiation and noxious fumes in its wake, blanketing the world in a weird and dense cloud cover. And as those clouds eventually dissipated, the effects they had were far-reaching. Electro-magnetic fields blanketed the surface, and, intermixed with a strange and unknown radiation made it impossible to transmit electric signals. Gasoline, clean water, and food became the new money. Those who had it were sought after celebrities, and had mobs of people lining up outside their homes begging for handouts….and turning violent when they got none.
The Harro tribe came across a small Eden nestled away in the middle of a vast desert that was once the Southeast US. This place was closest to the Asteroid impact sight, and yet there remained dense foliage, clean water, and the ability to produce food. It was perfect; far enough out of the way to ensure that no one would come across it. But as they made their first initial venture into the land to explore, another tribe entered the same territory from the East. The Rorwin tribe.
As the two tribes came face to face, it was clear that neither would share this land, this supposed paradise. But little did they know their every action was being watched…..hidden away, lurking, was a creature, not quite human, that hissed softly at the intruders. As it scurried away deeper into the forest, the first shots between the tribes rung out like a punctuation closing one chapter, and starting a new one.
