The Road to No Ends: Adv. Bch, Feb 5-7th
On February 5th, Adventure Beach Paintball in Tabor City, NC will launch a “24 hour” paintball scenario, “The Road to No Ends“. The story line involves two armies questing for possession of the mystical oracle which… oh, who cares what the storyline is! The real story is that two armies are going to battle it out on the paintball field once again and Adventure Beach Paintball ALWAYS throws a great game! The sides are divided into The Knowing (lead by Port City Militia) and The Hidden (lead by Greenman of Team ODX). I don’t want to sound prejudiced and always want to present a clear and unbiased account, but anyone who does not sign for The Hidden is pretty much a sissy-merry! (Okay, Greenman, make that check out to “Paul Metheney”). Read more
Scrimmage at Black River Indoor Field Jan 16th
Team Tango Alpha2 is having a Practice Day/Scrimmage and are calling for all interested teams/players to come out and play. The weather forecast from Weather.com is calling for rain and 49 degree temperatures for Saturday for Marshville, NC (home of Paintball Kingdom where we originally were going to play)…
So we are moving the Practice/Scrimmage to Black River Paintball’s Indoor field at 504 North McPherson Ch Rd Building B Fayetteville, NC 28303 (910-860-4469)
You must have the coupon below to get the Team/Scrimmage discount! Allen from Black River has offered us a great deal of NO AIR or ENTRY FEE! All you have to do is buy your paintballs from Black River that day (whether it’ a bag of 500 paintballs or cases). Black River is doing this to support the paintball community and we appreciate the help when the economy sucks as bad as it does. Let’s return the favor by showing up and shooting a ton of paintballs! Read more
No commentsTango Alpha2 Blog is 2 Yrs Old!
This week is the second birthday of this blog. Due to the holidays, increased assignments for Action Pursuit Games magazine, and the work around getting Generation Kill organized, I have been a little remiss in writing blogging in the last month or so. Then there was that little thing called Fulda Gap.
In the last 24 months we have averaged nearly 7 articles per month for 164 articles, so even though we have slowed down a bit in the last month or two, we have been still putting out some information. Most of our articles this year have been about events and scenarios.
As we move into our third year, we invite everyone to submit articles that we would be happy to post and credit.

Only 57 days remain until the season opener, Generation Kill: A Bad Afternoon in Afghanistan, at Command Decision’s Wargame Center on March 6th. Next Friday is the last day players can take advantage of the EARLY Pre-registration discount pricing of $30 (saving $15 off the regular price). On Saturday, Jan. 16th, the price goes up to $35 until Feb. 28th when it becomes $45. Players can also save additionally by purchasing their paintballs online, saving an extra $5 (for a total of $20 off the regular price). With the economy being what it is, Team: Tango Alpha2 wanted to give players every opportunity possible to save as much money as they could and make it as affordable as possible to enjoy the game.
