Koreans & Cyborgs & Charlie… Oh My!
The economy may be in the tank, but the paintball season is in full swing! Eight major games in less than 8 weeks. And it’s not even summer yet! The problem is not so much IF you need to mortgage your your house to play all these games, but where can you find a bank still standing that will give you a third mortgage!???
- Generation Kill was March 7th at Command Decisions;
- Clear and Present Danger at Wolf Creek was this weekend (despite the weather);
- MPP’s Battle for Seoul is at Paintball Charleston, April 4-5;
- The Hunt for Red October at Black River Paintballs “The Farm”, April 4th;
- Hellstorm of the Third Reich at Splat Brothers, April 18-19th
- Adventure Beach is hosting Skynet Burning Chrome, April 25th;
- Phoenix Project at Paintball Virginia, April 25th;
- Vietnam Patrol is at Command Decisions, May 2-3rd;
Generation Kill: The Aftermath
Maybe we should have named it “Generation Kill: A GREAT Day in Baghdad!” It sure seems like from the feedback that we received that everyone loved the hybrid Mil-Sim/Big Game scenario.
The game started out very well. The Marines were deducted points right off the bat for not managing to have their troops mobilized at Camp Matilda (with a few troops wandering in between the insertion point and Matilda.) However, they did pick up those same points for their paintload out being 100% (every Marine had the right amount paintballs loaded - not more than 700 rounds). Both sides picked up points by trading some bases back and forth and achieving missions. However, right off the bat, the Feyadeen shot 5 innocent Iraqi citizens costing them 125 points. Sucks to be a bad guy. Click here for pictures and more… Read more
